Dr. Anna Recine graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's Degree in Athletic Training in 2014, and Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy in 2017 from Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT.
While living in CT, Anna worked 3 years as an athletic trainer covering practices, games and tournaments at various high schools in lower Fairfield county. She has experience working with high school football, ice hockey, soccer, field hockey, basketball and wrestling athletes.
After graduating from physical therapy school, she began a meticulous 3-year manual therapy program through the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy (NAIOMT), earning the title of "Certified Manual Physical Therapist" in May 2020.
Anna's 15-year background in dance drives her passion for movement. She worked the last 4 years in Manhattan where she was rigorously trained and mentored to work backstage and in office, with pre-professional and professional dancers. Anna is very grateful to have been able to work with ballet dancers from the most prestigious companies including New York City Ballet and American Ballet Theatre, along with ballet schools including: School of the American Ballet, Ballet Academy East, Manhattan Youth Ballet, Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and Peridance Center.
Located close to Broadway, Anna was able to also work with performers in shows Moulin Rouge, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, Carousel, Anastasia and The Lion King.
Anna is now accepting new patients throughout lower Westchester County at her office located in Bronxville, NY.
